  1. Reconcile every bank and credit card account through 12/31
  2. Clear uncategorized transactions
  3. Confirm payroll totals match W-2/W-3 drafts
  4. Inventory count (if applicable)
  5. Fixed asset additions/disposals
  6. 1099 vendor list and W-9s
  7. Owner draws vs. distributions
  8. Loan principal vs. interest
  9. Sales tax filings current
  10. Retirement plan contributions
  11. Charitable giving documentation
  12. Mileage log
