David T. Yates

David was born and raised in Box Elder County and is proud to be 'locally grown.' As a managing partner at Davis & Bott, he specializes in tax planning, preparation, and accounting for individuals and family-owned businesses across a wide range of states and industries — manufacturing, transportation, agriculture, real estate, health services, wholesale, retail, and construction. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master of Accounting from Utah State University and has over 15 years of experience. Outside the office, David's first love is his wife, four daughters, and son. He enjoys hiking, floating rivers, mountain biking, exploring, real estate, working in his yard, and watching his kids' sporting and musical events. He currently serves as a leader in his church and loves working with the youth.

Brandon B. Broadhead

Brandon holds a Master of Accounting degree from Utah State University and is in his 8th year with Davis & Bott. He received a golf scholarship from USU and remains highly involved in the community, currently serving as President of the Brigham City Chamber of Commerce. In his spare time he enjoys fly fishing.

Aaron Rentschler

Aaron is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Utah with over 12 years of experience. He's dedicated to helping business owners and individuals reach their goals, grow their businesses, and navigate the complex world of accounting and taxation — from tax planning and compliance to accounting and business consulting. Prior to joining Davis & Bott, Aaron worked for a regional accounting firm. He earned his Bachelor and Master of Accounting degrees from Utah State University and is a big USU fan. He also enjoys serving in the community and his church, playing sports, and spending time with his family.

Andrea Winkler

Andrea is a CPA who received both her BS and Master of Accounting degrees from USU. She has worked in industry as a President, CFO, Inventory Specialist, Saleswoman, and Interior Designer over the years, but her passion is helping clients find success in their businesses and personal lives as a public accountant. Andrea specializes in business advisory services as well as tax and estate planning and preparation. Outside of work she enjoys playing tennis, hanging out with her husband and daughters, and drinking ice-cold Diet Pepsi.

David Rogers

David holds a Master of Accounting, BS in Finance, and BA in Russian — all from BYU. He has worked for Davis & Bott since 2006. David specializes in audit and attestation work for business, government, and non-profit entities, and also provides tax, consulting, planning, and other compliance services to those entities and to individuals. He is active in the community, serving in the Brigham City Rotary Club and as Supervisory Committee Chairman for a local credit union. Outside the office, David enjoys spending time with his family, running, and cheering for the Dodgers and BYU.

Spencer Jeppsen

Spencer is a local boy from Mantua, UT. He earned both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in accounting from Utah State University, is a licensed CPA, and worked nearly ten years for a regional accounting firm before deciding to return to his roots. He has experience across many areas of taxation including real estate, construction, manufacturing, medical & dental practices, and retirement plans. Spencer enjoys assisting clients with tax compliance, tax planning and strategy, business growth strategy, and long-term wealth planning. He's an avid golfer, loves to travel and scuba dive with his wife Cassie, and enjoys being a dad to his four little girls more than just about anything.

Ted Jeppsen

Ted grew up in Mantua, UT and graduated from Utah State University in 2017 with his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Accounting. He began working in public accounting in 2015 and has focused on tax planning and preparation for clients in industries like medical, real estate, manufacturing, construction, photography, and farming. In his spare time, Ted enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, serving on the BESD Foundation board and as a youth leader in his church, playing pickleball, golf, basketball, and mountain biking, and helping his dad run their small farm in Mantua.

William Pedersen

William grew up in northern Utah and earned his Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Utah State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He earned a Master of Taxation (MTax) from Weber State University with a 4.0 GPA as a Goddard Scholar. William is a licensed CPA in Utah and a Qualified 401(k) Consultant (QKC), and is a member of the AICPA and ASPPA. He specializes in business and individual taxation, as well as retirement plan setup and administration. William lives in Brigham City with his wife, three sons, and two dogs, and enjoys time with his family, pickleball, board and card games, and reading.
